Aye, the classes in Aion were just far too generic. No real substance to any of them.

there really is no substance at all to aion and that is sad. It is true no matter how you slice that the game world has a great potential but unfortunately I don't think that potential will be ever be realized or even be tapped into =(

yea look at all the games from ncsoft they were all great ideas but in the end they seem to go no were i am actually surprised ncsoft actually decided to come out with
a guild wars 2 but in the end i think personal aion should be free theyve got like 10 servers an at most i think theres about at most 500 people on each one

Well, to be fair, guild wars II isn't being made by ncsoft proper, just the dev company they bought. I've yet to see a Korean MMO with any PVE substance, but that's just the way it is. Sadly, Aion held so much promise yet fell short. Then again, what MMO hasn't fallen short in PVE in the past 5+ years? There is a reason that FFXIV has such a huge following already, yet hardly any info has been released about it.
