Oh my, where have you been during my FFXI career...this has got to be one of the best mods I've ever come across. The dunes are so damned bright, even when you turn the brightness down, but then you can't read the text or see well!



Also has a weathered looking outpost option...



DL the .dat here ~ Rename the option you want to 102.DAT and drop it in your Final Fantasy XI\ROM\0 folder..of course back up the original should you decide you like being blinded instead...hehe

Interesting indeed. If it wasn't the brightness of the place it was the soft sound of the ocean lulling the healer to sleep. I never was a fan of the dunes of stupid.

Well considering the amount of time I'm gonna end up in the Dunes getting sub items, and just in general it seems the dunes play a central hub and you end up going through there often. This will greatly help, and I suppose I'll enjoy it much more now...heh

Hrm...scratch this one me thinks...looks nice, but the tunnel is pitch black...can't see with this mod running...
