Gah this thing is so fraking huge, but its so awesome to have! Currently my idle temps are 36c low and 38c high, shall get back to ya with a full load temps eventually...maybe!

Oh this is what I'm running now:

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor
ASUS M4A79XTD EVO AM3 AMD 790X ATX AMD Motherboard
Antec TruePower New TP-750 Blue 750W Continuous Power ~ dern PS died the other day, had to buy a new one. This one however just screams high performance though so I'm happy!
A-DATA Gaming Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) ~ Was only able to afford 4gb for now cause my PS went out, but I'll be getting another 4gb in the next few weeks!
Thermaltake CLP0554 SpinQ VT Universal CPU Cooling Fan ~ This is that huge Mofo in the images below!

Now all I need is the new nVidia EVGA GTX 480 later this year once the price drops a few hundred $$$

Anywho, I decided to install this thing while the MB was not inside the case so that I could get my hands around it and get a nice center fit, it would have been very difficult if the MB was installed already:

Here are 2 aerials after I got everything back in my case and wires run:

A couple side views with case opened:

Side views with case closed, and wow just wow, the SpinQ fits without having to move my upper side fan to the outside of the case. It just slightly overlaps the fan with the top plate by about 3mm:

Hoping to get an Antec 1200 case sometime...its fraking nices!

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129043&cm_re=antec_1200-_-11-129-043-_-Product

Could use more fans, but that SpinQ I have is a huge turbine fan blowing cool air throughout my case in 360 by 6.5in so lots of coverage...

I have the antec 1200. It's a beast :| Biggest case I've ever seen.

And wouldn't the SpinQ be blowing hot air everywhere? :p

This is my cooler http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=n82e16835103055
Top of the line! Barely fits in this beast of a case lol

Nah the heat is dissipated and evenly released across those 50 copper blades so there is barely any heat being directed in any one way...holding your hand all around the SpinQ, all I feel is cold air!

Ah yeah I considered that fan too, but the SpinQ was just too bad-ass looking to pass up and was on par in cooling with many of the top brands like this one!

Looking good there. Hope the computer doesn't topple over from the weight of that cooling fan.

Wow less then 2 pounds? The fan I use doesn't look half as beefy or cool and weighs at least 2 pounds. Must be the crappy materials mine is made of lol

I've almost completed my new build....got a ton more painting finished in last few days and earned enough to order my other 4gb of RAM, and a new 1TB 7200rpm Hitachi HDD:

A-DATA Gaming Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

HITACHI Deskstar HD31000 IDK/7K (0S00163) 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5"

Now all I have to do for the rest of the year is save up for the GTX 480, or I might even just get the 470 as its $200 cheaper atm and still has a ton of power packed within. I really just want the DX11 and Tesselation features for the next generation of games that should be landing in full force in a few months!

Grrrr...so the items I ordered ^above have arrived at my local UPS sorting facility this morning {less than 7 miles from my home} and apparently they didn't arrive in time to get placed on the Saturday trucks...argh.

I called UPS following their pick up a package link and talked with customer service and they claim that the facility is closed all weekend long and nobody is there to go grab my package from whatever belt or truck for Monday its sitting on. Uh yeah right UPS closes, especially this being one of the main routing facilities in the central US. If it was closed then how do all the incoming packages from other locations get sorted out and placed on delivery trucks for this locations and others across the US in time for Monday's schedule.

Argh stupid CS, its everywhere....so now I gotta wait all weekend for my parts cause they're supposedly closed...argh~!

I wanted my HD today so I could start the arduous task of reinstalling Win7 and FFXI and everything else for tomorrow when I return to XI...blah

I worked for Purolator at one point and we did close down sorting facilities for the weekend o.o unless it was also a retail center there was no one there at all, they get all the sorting done the day before they send them out, so chances are they got it, sorted it and got it ready to go... then closed for the weekend :O lol

Hey Khal, can you use DDR2 cards in that board? All I have is DDR2 sticks, and can really afford the DDR3s.

Grrr... more money I cant afford to spend. frigging computers.

Looks like I can get all three things from Newegg for 339: 20 rebate (mail in 359 without it), 9something promo code, and next day UPS shipping... could go down to 2nd day to make the price cheaper, or have it arrive on monday (supposedly) for only 99 cents.

If I am broke again for another two weeks, I dont care as long as my computer is running and I can get my gaming fix Onigiri oo Onigiri Kawaii
